The ALPEN INN was established in 1975 on Big Powderhorn Mountain. 

Our beautiful trailside location offers great food, drinks and fun!  This is the perfect meeting place for skiiers and snowboarders alike.  Ski in for drinks, dining and live apres ski entertainment (see our entertainment schedule on our Contact page). 

Relax and warm up by our fireplace, enjoy the ambiance of our lodge style bar and the mountain views from our dining room. 

Located on Alpen Road, we are a short drive (or shuttle bus ride) from anywhere on the mountain.

Our regular customers enjoy our signature Bloody Marys, the best selection of microbrews on tap, delicious burgers, Friday night fish fry (fresh from Lake Superior) and decadent deserts.
